About Us
our journey
Green Squirrel was originally formed as Green Squirrel Cleaning in July 2018 with the ambition to provide eco-friendly and fully customisable cleaning services to the domestic and commercial market.
It hasn't been easy, and it took a while to find our feet. We made mistakes but learned so much!
We were finally getting somewhere in January 2020, then Covid-19 happened and along with so many across Australia and the world we didn't know what the future may hold.
The next 2 years were certainly tough, but the lockdowns allowed us to slow down and re-evaluate the future of the business.
We took this time to become a registered NDIS provider and have never looked back.
At the end of the last lockdown most of our original clients returned and by then I had connected with a few support coordinators and was supporting 10 NDIS participants in their homes.
moving forward
We are currently a team of six and we can't wait to grow our team even more!
We now are connected with a lot of support coordinators and are now supporting over 25 NDIS participants on a twice weekly, weekly and fortnightly basis.
Green Squirrel is now in the process of evolving from purely cleaning services to a full range of cleaning, laundry and domestic support services.
We are looking forward to the future and providing an excellent range of services to those in our community that need it the most.
It's really thanks to all our clients and those who have recommended our services to others that we have made it this far.

We aim to continuing learning how to be more eco-friendly at home and at work and sharing these sustainable ideas with our clients and colleagues.
We want to support opportunities for all members of our community to get out and enjoy our natural landscapes.

why green squirrel?
Did you know that squirrels are nature's very own eco warriors? Yes that's right! It's well known that squirrels' favourite food are acorns along with other nuts and seeds!
They love them so much they often bury their stash to keep them safe for future munchies. However, a lot of the time they forget where they left them!
These forgotten nuts take root and grow into big, beautiful trees that humans, Squirrels and other animals can enjoy!
That's right squirrels are nature's own little tree planters!
why are trees important?
Trees are wonderful things and without them none of us would be here.
Trees help to regulate the climate and create oxygen so all animals and humans can live. They provide animals across the world with habitats and can be made into sustainable building materials for humans.
Our diverse landscape wouldn't be the same without them and our eco system we know and rely on simply wouldn't exist.
